What you can expect
Breathwork comes in many different forms, and this series is designed to help you explore and understand these differences. You will experience the effects firsthand and gain an intuitive understanding of which breathing techniques can support you in different situations.
- Healthy Breath: We start with a brief theoretical introduction and focus on practical techniques that support a healthy respiratory system or help improve breathing function.
- Energy & Activation: This session is focused on activation through high-frequency breathing, deliberately stimulating the sympathetic nervous system. It concludes with deep relaxation, and is particularly helpful for those who struggle with persistent thought loops and want to move from the mind into the body. You may experience strong emotions or embark on an “inner adventure journey.”. This session is not recommended for pregnant individuals, people with cardiovascular issues, or anyone currently undergoing intensive trauma therapy.
- Deep Relaxation: Fully focused on relaxation and the parasympathetic nervous system, this session is scheduled late in the evening so participants can immediately lie down and rest or sleep if they wish.
Through these three sessions, you will gain a hands-on understanding of different breathwork approaches, experience their effects on body and mind, and leave with practical tools you can use in everyday life.
What to bring with or how to prepare?
Please make sure to join the sessions with a headset, in a quiet, private space where you won’t be disturbed. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that doesn’t constrict your stomach. Have a blanket or something cosy within reach to ensure comfort during the exercises.
