🌍Renewable energy in the North Sea Basin and Emission Reduction🌿

🔔Pim Reuderink, fellow learner, will give a brief lecture on renewable energy in the North Sea Basin and a view on reduction of emissions. This as result of the Meet-Up in Amsterdam December 2024, on request of his fellow study mates!

**About Pim: Pim Reuderink has a senior managerial role in the Nordic and BENELUX region at Bureau Veritas for over 10 years. He has an automotive engineering and quality management background.

He has a track record working globally. He has been also an entrepreneur working in international testing and inspection market, but also involved in European accreditation of inspection bodies (ISO17020) and Testing Laboratories (ISO 17025). Before that he was in homologation of motor vehicles on the world. He did interim work as Fire Prevention Officer at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for 65 of the buildings and hangars at Schiphol Airport.

Currently as regional technical manager, he is the ambassador of energy transition. With his regional role he has a focus on system integration of the energy systems. He is an academic lecturer at a Master of Science for pipeline technology for field of “quality management and inspection
methods “.

He has experience in upstream (offshore), wind and nuclear energy. He has a track record working on major projects such as the gas pipeline Balticconnector, Hollandse Kust offshore substations, several newly built offshore platforms (e.g., Tyra, Q10a, P11Unity).He is an honourable delegated member of the bilateral Dutch / Franco Pact on energy transition. He is in the Pact participating on the committee of the hydrogen technology progress
